Just keep walking, preacher-man.

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Whereabouts are you, bon? I'm in the Valley and we are moving next week, but if you're close, I'd love to stop in.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think inflicting a headache on one of her friends would be about the last way ita would want to mark her passing. Now, if your TV turned itself off as a Halle Berry movie came on Saturday night, I might not be so quick to dismiss it as coincidence.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

My brain doesn't believe in messages from beyond, but my heart does. My grandpa died suddenly, and my cousin knew it. Years later, she knew when another cousin's plane was lost. She had a beautiful dream of our grandpa greeting him. I don't know how it works, but there's something there.

Edited for stoopid autocorrect.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm in Northridge. I will put a post with my address up in Press over the weekend.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My brain doesn't believe, but my heart does. That's a great wayvof putting it, libkitty. I'm the same way.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I believe. Something rang the doorbell of my house in Spain on Thanksgiving evening, middle of the night, no one there at the door. Not even kids running down the road or anything. And it was a little dirt road, barely wide enough for one car. We were pretty far off the beaten path. A week later, the Red Cross contacted me to say my folks were requesting I be authorized emergency leave to go home to Wisconsin, my terminally ill brother wasn't expected to survive for more than another two weeks. So, I go home on emergency leave and when I get there, the family tells me that they almost lost Mike on Thanksgiving. Yeah, I know, he was ringing my doorbell to tell me good-bye. I believe.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's really lovely, Ouise. I like the thought of you singing that for ita.

Yikes, Callaluna, how scary.
