I only ever made it to Seattle and Providence. Something else was always coming up with the other ones. One time it was money, TCG and I just found an apartment to share and couldn't swing the cost of moving and a F2F, and the other times it was either also money or social anxiety. I think I joined the board either right before or right after the LA F2F but I think it was after.

I have spent more time on FB in the last two days than I have in the last four *years*. I will probably check in more there, but it is not a comfy place for me, nor will I be greatly expanding my friends there. I'm happy here. Here is good. But the pictures are there, so.

Yes, it's been so nice seeing..."old faces" is not exactly the right phrase, but you know what I mean. Even if y'all don't stick around, it's nice to know you're still out there in the universe. Even if I know it because someone else isn't, which is the worst reason.

I made DC, ATL, Madison (boy howdy), Seattle, and SF. Only met ita the once, at Drew and Pix's wedding, and was too intimidated to talk to her much. Stupid anxiety.
Went to corner bar with roomie, had a drink. She's good folk. She's lost a lot of friends and knows how it is.
I keep showing people pictures. Look how beautiful, I say. Look how badass, look how cool. How is she gone, I don't say. They don't have the context, the pictures don't convey the full life, and there's no answer anyway. But I keep showing people, because look. Look at her. Do you see how wonderful? How amazing? Look.
