Mal: Zoe, why do I have a wife? Jayne: You got a wife? All I got is that dumbass stick sounds like its raining. How come you got a wife?

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

But if you have 9 of them, that's like...720 proof.

Which is more than enough proof to prove that I don't understand proof.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Only 9?

I'm trying to remember if we went to Pat O'Brians for hurricanes. Things are fuzzy.

Also, weren't there, like, people having sex on the balcony across from our hotel?

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Oh God, the people having sex across the street! I'd forgotten about that.

Good times.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I missed that, but I think Trudy held a watch-and-post party in her room.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Aillean, it's too young, and too tragic, and I'm so sorry, for you and for her husband and sons.

I have spent more time on FB in the last two days than I have in the last four *years*. I will probably check in more there, but it is not a comfy place for me, nor will I be greatly expanding my friends there. I'm happy here. Here is good. But the pictures are there, so.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Also, weren't there, like, people having sex on the balcony across from our hotel?

With all the talk of drinks and proof, it took me a moment to parse out that you were talking about *actual* sex, and not some NOLA drink special.

Still kills me that I missed that F2F. I love that city so dearly, and I wanted so badly to be in it with Buffistas (to be fair, I honeymooned there with a Buffista AIWFG, but I am greedy and want more).

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh, I was upset about missing New Orleans too, and then doubly so when Katrina hit just a few months later.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Oh, I was upset about missing New Orleans too, and then doubly so when Katrina hit just a few months later.

Same. The only two F2Fs I made were DC and SF. I wish I had attended more.

I also wish I had had the chance to meet ita in person.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I missed that, but I think Trudy held a watch-and-post party in her room.

Well, it started out as just some people hanging out in our room, but then we noticed them across the street...

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm with amyth, calli, Hayden, and S. (Who technically has a login here but I don't think ever used it.) We're having a remote wake of sorts, drinking and telling stories and speaking in old-friend in-jokes and TV references, which seems just about right.
