Who among us can ignore the allure of really funny math puns?

Willow ,'Empty Places'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sying, candyb, all others who are delurking now - thank you. Please feel welcome to stay delurked.

Seska, I am so happy to. see you here.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

For all the poo-pooing people do towards online relationships, we have a record of our interactions that you just can't get otherwise. We're not just recollecting these conversations, we can relive them over and over and over.

The last therapy session I had I got a bit defensive because my therapist was talking about online relationships not being the same as real-life friendships. I think I'm going to buy another copy of Allyson's book and give it to him so he can understand they sometimes can be.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

If life imitated art - as it should - ita's spirit would have passed into her laptop and then into the internet. I'd like to think of her whooshing through the tubes and pipes, maybe correcting some errant code. And taking joy in killing malware with her pinky.

I keep running into that with my shrinks, too. I think they need to do a little more internet research.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Going with Emily S. and Jon B. to get the PA system in Chicago.

And then Tommyrot(?) saving the day when we discovered at the last minute that the PA guys had forgotten to gave us a power cord for the amp.

Stirring up lots of great memories here.

The DC F2F is the one I regret missing the most, unfortunately money issues got in the way of fun.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yep, that was me. One of the advantages of having our F2F hotel two blocks from where I worked then.

Yes! That was a huge amount of fun!

LA was my first F2F but I refuse to believe it was that long ago. Hec and JZ, were we toasting your engagement in the hospitality room? I have such a crap memory.
