Thank you Laura.
'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'
ita's thread
A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.
Thank you, Laura.
Remembering Ginger on her birthday. One of my favorite memories is crowding into her kitchen and library at the Atlanta F2F. She is missed in so many ways. So often I would like to hear her take on so many topics.

I waved to her as I was landing in Atlanta.

Yo tambien.
My phone just reminded me of her birthday. I just can't bring myself to delete contact info or birthdays from people I love. If I don't like you anymore, on the other hand . . . .
Today we remember DXMachina on his birthday. Ed was such a good friend to so many. I think of him often and miss him.

ita, you are the reason this thread exists, and the reason this place exists in our lives. On your birthday, and on so many days, we are beyond grateful for the time we had together.
That's true, he did set this up. He was a funny guy...I COMM'ed him often. But we didn't get to know each other well. I have spent too much time in my life waiting for the perfect moment, permission or something...I'm not sure what. But it didn't show up.
My father and my godfather were both Professors of Chemistry and baseball fans, and Ed reminded me so much of them that I felt like he was already family. We only met a couple of times at F2Fs, but he was always so sweet to me.
