So today FB reminded me of Connie's birthday. I have too many people now on FB that I get birthday reminders for who aren't with us anymore. My sister shares a birthday with ita so I always think of her that day too. I can't bring myself to get rid of the many FB accounts, so I am trying to just find gratitude for the time they were in my life while remembering their birthdays.
ita's thread
A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.
Same. We've got several inches of snow here, which suits my need for quiet reflective time today.
I'm not a religious person, as in I don't have a clue what may or may not happen when we leave this existence. That doesn't keep me from visualizing a plane where our lost loved ones greet and gather together again. So I am just going to believe that Amy has been lovingly welcomed by the Buffistas who also left us way too soon.
Watching the new Kung Fu - thinking how much I wish ita could have seen the all female fight scenes.
Also - almost 15 minutes in: 1st white person.
I just saw that that exists yesterday, now I will have to seek it out!
Really? Is it good?
I remember watching the original back in the day, and a few years ago I decided it was beyond rebooting, the whole concept was unredeemable. So it's fascinating that someone actually went after it anyway.
Just found out one of my co-workers worked with ita years ago and now I have to tell her that ita passed. She remembers how awesome and sharp ita was and I'm feeling the loss again hard.
But it was a joy to talk about ita with someone who thought she was amazing.

There's that part too.
