'Touched'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

That article made me sad and angry all over again.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I keep finding books on Goodreads that Ginger marked "To Read". Makes me so sad.

Punishingly Intricate

Nothing makes me wish for an after life more (other than seeing my loved ones who passed before me).

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

It's so wrong that ita and Ginger aren't here to celebrate the 20th Anniversary.

You are sorely missed!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

When I went to MI to visit ita, she was aghast that I had never watched all of S1 (I am not sure when I started watching, but it was not S1) and pulled out her tapes to make me watch some eps. I have no memory of which ones we watched, but we talked about them all night.

Because books.

Aw, msbelle. I love that story.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm mentally hugging that story.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Today I had the worst migraine of my life. I was completely debilitated, in so much pain I couldn't function and vomiting into a trash can because I couldn't get to the bathroom in time. It passed after many hours of sleep and medication, but of course this made me think of ita. I felt such grief about her loss and such rage at how much the medical community failed her, so I'm really glad to come here and see msbelle's story. I needed to remember that ita too.

Art Crawl!!!

Before I became a Buffista I had no idea about how horrifying migraines could be.

I wish that there had been no reason for me to have learned this . . . I hope that treatments are found that will mean that others won't have to suffer the same. And I really wish that nobody suffer the unwarranted suspicion and lack of care that ita did in her quest for some pain relief.
