Nothing makes me wish for an after life more (other than seeing my loved ones who passed before me).

ita's thread
A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.
wrod.
It's so wrong that ita and Ginger aren't here to celebrate the 20th Anniversary.
You are sorely missed!
When I went to MI to visit ita, she was aghast that I had never watched all of S1 (I am not sure when I started watching, but it was not S1) and pulled out her tapes to make me watch some eps. I have no memory of which ones we watched, but we talked about them all night.
Aw, msbelle. I love that story.
I'm mentally hugging that story.
Today I had the worst migraine of my life. I was completely debilitated, in so much pain I couldn't function and vomiting into a trash can because I couldn't get to the bathroom in time. It passed after many hours of sleep and medication, but of course this made me think of ita. I felt such grief about her loss and such rage at how much the medical community failed her, so I'm really glad to come here and see msbelle's story. I needed to remember that ita too.
Before I became a Buffista I had no idea about how horrifying migraines could be.
I wish that there had been no reason for me to have learned this . . . I hope that treatments are found that will mean that others won't have to suffer the same. And I really wish that nobody suffer the unwarranted suspicion and lack of care that ita did in her quest for some pain relief.
The past two years pretending that Ginger and ita were still available by Buffista board have been lovely for me, but today all that sad has walloped me like a sledgehammer to the heart.
Has the board really been around twenty years?
Buffy has been around for twenty, and the first TT thread started on May 19, 1997, so the Buffistas are coming up on their 20th anniversary as an entity in two months and a day.
B.org will celebrate it's 15th anniversary in six months.
