We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Agreed. And I'm missing her voice in this conversation also.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

When I went in Light Bulbs to post the proposal, one of the posts right before was from Ginger.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

It is creepy, but money to a good cause is ok by me.

I'm going to ignore the creepiness for a moment to mention that we watched The Brotherhood of the Wolf last night and damn, I miss ita.

Because books.

Money to a good cause is always welcome, but I don't like the idea of him trading off her in any way, no matter what. Growl.

I totally understand that feeling, but I also feel like he's allowed to process his grief, you know?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I totally understand that feeling, but I also feel like he's allowed to process his grief, you know?

Yes. I would never tell other people how to react here, but my take is that people who do really shitty, hurtful things are also people who do good things. Which is why this:

This is another one of those complicated things with no good answer, isn't it.

Because books.

It is complicated. And I get that, about grief (and any other feelings). Also about shitty people sometimes doing good things (and the inverse).

But right now I'm looking at this through a really cynical lens (which is just my reaction).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I know. I guess I'm just trying to talk out my reactions.

Because books.

Me, too! And there's no need for consensus *here* -- we're all going to feel how we feel.
