Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Some Ginger phrases gleaned from Quotable:

Thinking about murder seemed like a really unfortunate side effect.

I got a newer style plunger to deal with a clog that the traditional style failed at. I started to throw out the old one, but then I thought, "Suppose I want to make a Dalek?"

I'm beginning to think I should start a blog called "Fukushima Won't Kill You (But I'm Thinking About It)."

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

See tagline above.

What is even happening?

Teppy, I don't have a Ginger quote for you, but I do have an anecdote.

Back when I was first acknowledging my anxiety disorder (probably 11 years ago), I was having a really hard time. I said stuff here, but not everything, but Ginger got it.

One day while having a bad day, the mail came. In it was a VHS tape of David Boreanaz on a talk show. I disremember which one. Ginger just caught it, recorded it, and then sent it to me, becaus she thought maybe his gooberism would help me.

And? It do did.

I never got to pay her back for that, but I'll never forget her for it, either. She was a dear person.

If you can finagle my fondness for her into your lantern, please have at it.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

If you could put all our love in the lantern, that would work.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yeah.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The annual lantern lighting ceremony was tonight -- flea (and family) joined us to launch a lantern for Ginger on the lake. Picture are in the FB Buffistas group, or if you're not in that group, this post is a public post so you should be able to see them (along with pictures of my other lantern): [link]

I put heart stickers all over Ginger's lantern to try to get all of our love into it.

It's so perfect it bears repeating.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks, Steph.

Our wings are not tired.

Thank you, Steph. It is a beautiful and moving tribute.
