I sent out a bulk email yesterday about the Best Life Coach in DC poll I won last year and, this morning, I got the bounce report for the email addresses.

One was a 'hard bounce' for Ginger's address. I blurted out loud, "Oh, Jesus."

I never thought to remove it from my list.

She voted and sent me a congratulatory email last year.

It's just so sad.

This evening at the hardware store I got ambushed by "Rhythm of the Night" and someone an aisle over singing along out of pure joy, and I had a fruit-punch ita-will-never-hear-that-song-again moment and had to hide in a corner near the kitchen cleaning products and cry until it was over. I don't understand it. I still don't understand.

My loves, it just hurts.

I bought Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, so every day when I make coffee, I think of ita. Buying it was one of those good idea/bad idea decisions.

I have to stop myself from emailing a tasty picture of a wet, bespectacled, barefoot or skirted man with interesting hands to ita a couple of times a week.

Sitting in the theatre, I thought that too...about wanting her option of the fights and the jokes, in particular.
