Okay, what's working for me is opening it in Photoshop Elements, because that's the image editing program I have, and then re-saving it. If something went funky during the mass downloading that Gris did, it may be that just re-saving it helps repair the file.

If you have anything (maybe even MS Paint?) you might try that. If it's not feasible, you can keep the ones that aren't working for you and I can batch process them later or something.

I drove by a Jamaican restaurant this morning and thought of her.

I realized I'd accidentally made a shrine in my new apartment with Wax Lion, Brass Monkey, Mardi Gras beads, and a shot glass with the logo from The Crow.

That makes me happy. Extra because accidental.

The cemetery by my house has a lantern-lighting ceremony in a few weeks that they do every year. People decorate lanterns to commemorate loved ones who passed away, and at twilight, the lanterns are launched on the lake. This is a photo from last year's event: [link]

I'm going to make a lantern for ita this year. So I'm trying to figure out how I want to decorate ita's lantern, and there's SO MUCH I could put on there. I need to narrow it down.
