ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I miss ita because reasons. Stupid, trivial reasons, but those are the stupid trivial moments you would have shared with friends, right? Stupid mortality.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I drove by a Jamaican restaurant this morning and thought of her.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I realized I'd accidentally made a shrine in my new apartment with Wax Lion, Brass Monkey, Mardi Gras beads, and a shot glass with the logo from The Crow.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That makes me happy. Extra because accidental.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The cemetery by my house has a lantern-lighting ceremony in a few weeks that they do every year. People decorate lanterns to commemorate loved ones who passed away, and at twilight, the lanterns are launched on the lake. This is a photo from last year's event: [link]

I'm going to make a lantern for ita this year. So I'm trying to figure out how I want to decorate ita's lantern, and there's SO MUCH I could put on there. I need to narrow it down.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Anything and everthing are legitimate reasons to miss a friend.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh Tep I love that! Also it reminds me of one of my favorite movies - Murnau's Sunrise.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I want her to be here to see Venus and Serena play tonight. Goddamn.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

A while ago I saw an article that they were doing a new season of Prison Break and my first thought was that someone would be happy about it ... and then I remembered who. sigh
