I don't think we need to set it up in a way that someone would add to it. I'm fine with having it preserved.
I guess I hate leaving things solely to the Wayback Machine. I don't know what their policy is, but if someone made a copyright claim against an image, I'd worry that the site might be removed. I'm pretty sure I've seen it happen before.
Would it wiork to set up provocateuse sites on tumblr? That way they could be added to. I would actually volunteer to set them up if I could get sent either all the images or links to the ones she used. I would tag each one with the subject's name, so it would be searchable. Crazy?
I should be able to get all of the images if I keep chugging. Tumblr might be a logical place for them.
I don't mind doing grunt work on Tumblr either. I have to admit, I also worry about what will happen if/when Tumblr disappears or changes policies or whatever, but I've seen a lot of web hosts and services come and go.
I am going to see if I can get the tumblr names tonight or as close as I can. There was hands, glasses, wet, men in dresses/skirts, silver foxes, and what else? What was the women one?

The women one was Venus. From the Tumblr:
venus (women), barefoot (guess), wet men (go on), skirts (men in skirts), silver foxes (hot older people of all genders), spectacles (sexy men in glasses, and the occasional monocle)
She had subtitles, too, like "FEET don't fail me now," "Make a SPECTACLE of yourself," and "All HANDS on deck." I don't remember what/if there were for skirts, wet, silver foxes, and venus, though.
Okay. I got MOST of the pictures. It looks like the scraper messed up on some when there were LOTS of pictures but it's a definite start. It will be a while before they are all uploaded on dropbox but when it is done (probably in a couple of hours) here is the link:
I am going out of town tomorrow so now need to go pack. If I get some free time over the week I'll try to figure out which pictures are missing and start collecting them, but I got several thousand so it should keep people busy for a while.
I think you should just use the wayback machine itself to access her blurbs and subtitles.
ETA: upload is complete. 900 MB worth of images, about 7000 of them I think.

Thanks Gris!!! I will probably start grabbing stuff tonight will update here how it is going and if it works, I will set up folders on a hard drive and a back up for redundancy.
