Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Mal ,'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh merciful heavens, that's lovely. It's making me weep, but it is lovely.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Lovely, askye.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That is gorgeous, askye.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Lovely, askye!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Absolutely beautiful, askye.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I meant to say earlier how lovely this is, askye. I love the conceit that even though she's a moon, we revolve around her.

Thrive to spite them

Thank you so you much. Hearing your thoughts it makes me feel like I've done her justice.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, askye. That's just lovely. Tears. Thank you.

With your permission, I'd like to print it out and frame it for my office. And if someone has a great pic of ita! please to be linking. I'm thinking a pink gingham border.

Thrive to spite them

When I postd it I felt like it needed polishing because it felt a little rough but maybe the roughness is a good thing.

Of course you can print it out! I'd be honored.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Stupid moment of being blindsided by missing:

Last night Emmett was ahemming the Warriors game on his laptop; as is usual for a lot of streaming games, it came with commercial interruptions that were both frequent and the same two or three ads over and over. One of them was for something I don't even recall, but the conceit of the ad was that some guy really wants to do karaoke all the time, and his go-to piece is "Carry On, My Wayward Son."

I never saw or heard the reference in its original context, am not attached to either the original or the fannish source, and literally know nothing about it except that it has weight and meaning to ita and that the O-deckers used it as a low-key tribute to her, but that's all I needed to get completely distraught by the time the ad ran for the fourth or fifth time (and I think it ran at least four more times after that). I want her back; I want the old world back, the one with her in it. This world is stupid.
