I'm sure ita would approve, Strix. Are you (or someone you know) able to sew a new hem for the collar? That would probably make it comfier and more durable.

ita's thread
A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.
Thanks, guys! I know someone who can hem it, sure.
I feel better now; it's a silly thing, but I really was having an ethical quandary because of it.
Not only am I sure that if ita herself had handed you that shirt, she would want you to make the alteration so it fits you, but my own opinion is that if there is something that will make it wearable for you, I want you to do it. Better to wear the shirt and channel her kickassery than to leave it collecting dust.
I love you guys.
I have 4 things that still need homes--the Hellboy lunch box, what I think is a Crouching Tiger figurine, a Scottie Pippen Figurine, and a Wolverine figurine. Does anyone want them? There are pictures up in my Facebook album of ita's fannish items.
eta: only the Pippen figurine is left--any Bulls fans?
I already have ita stuff, so anyone else can come before me, but I am in a basketball family and we all are fond of Pippen.
Done!
I hope to finish sending everything out tomorrow.
I think of her often right now, because of the Kay commercial and how she pointed out that "kiss my ass" starts with "K" too. Funny that some of the best quotes I've gotten online are hers, so I have plenty of ita stories although we never got to spend much time in the same room--which I'd always hoped to put right "Fire and Rain" style, but never got to.
I just bought a small sized Black Honey almost lipstick because of her.
I hope it is as right for me.
I've been very happy with the one I got recently. And gotten compliments on it.
Watching As Time Goes By right now - I will always think of Judi Dench as "who ita may have met and not remembered"
