ita's thread
A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.
I failed in my goal to get all of ita's stuff in the mail by yesterday (work has been kicking my behind this week), so please don't worry if you haven't gotten things yet even though other people have.
For those of you who want to send me postage (and honestly, I am not sure the mail room is charging me for everything, so no worries if not), my profile address is also my paypal address.
Thank you, Lee. I did get my package yesterday at the office, but waited until I was alone to open it in case of sniffles.
I've wondered about her Flickr accounts. My understanding is that up to 200 photos can be displayed for free and that larger accounts won't be deleted for non-payment, but only 200 photos will be viewable. ita_ita_ita should be okay but serenada has 1310 public photos. Is there another account I'm not remembering?
Aurelia, flickr got rid of the 200 photo limit about a year ago and gave all free accounts a TB of storage.
Oh, good, DX, I do use that, and I wouldn't have thought to save it. Bookmarked.
I have failed to send things out as well. A couple of you folks, including Lee, are waiting on me. Will try to accomplish post office by Monday.
Lee, thank you for the package. It made me cry, which I was expecting. The ankh is now on my altar, and the Death plushie is hanging out with the dolls in the bedroom.
There are things I need to do, like send thank you notes to the folks who contributed to the fund, a project I want to do with the Pink Gingham Dress, and finish shipping things.
No spoons. It's impossible to determine what ita would have wanted. I think about her every day, and get angry that the world is still spinning without her. I can't stand it.
I've been wearing her garnet ring, imagining it has some sort of superhero power to make me stronger. It's silly, magical thinking, but it helps.
Allyson, you have the shiniest hair.
