Supernatural 3: Family don't end with blood

What is even happening?

The CW released a promo of the "A journey 15 years in the making" variety. It's set to "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" (it's not Dylan, but I'm not sure of the artist).

It's made up of snippets of key scenes beginning with the pilot and throughout the years.

I didn't expect it, but it brought tears to my eyes. It's here: [link]

Apparently, Christian Kane is guest starring on Supernatural this season. My question - Leverage hair or Angel/Librarians hair?

Which do you prefer, Vortex?

Ooh, I always wished for that!

I used to, and forgot about it, so that's a nice surprise.

I went to YouTube intending to search for something else and found this ET interview with Jared and Jensen, conducted by Matt Cohen (young John Winchester). It's from August of this year, but I hadn't seen it. It contains a whole lot of pretty with a splash of nostalgia, if anyone wants to see it. [link]

Because books.

I didn't expect it, but it brought tears to my eyes.

I'm going to be a hot mess at the end, no lie. And the whole "ending" vibe is making me think so much about ita, and that's bittersweet.

Well, I really hated the long hair when Leverage started, but it grew on me (no pun intended). When Librarians started, I missed it. So, my vote is Leverage hair.

Thrive to spite them

My vote is Leverage hair but early Leverage hair, it got a little fly away looking right before he cut it

I will take any of the hairs. And a lot of punching. And ideally some cooking.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Knife handling, in any capacity.

When oh when are they going to give us an original cast Leverage movie? Or miniseries? Wrong thread I know, but...I just miss the Leverage cast so much.

Me too. There's a channel that runs it on Sunday nights. Also in the morning, but I have learned that if I turn it on, I am late for work because I am too busy watching and waiting for the good part (and the next good part, and the next good part . . .) to happen to actually get ready for work!

Did anyone watch Supernatural tonight?

I enjoyed it, but I found it a little disorienting. I liked the Hellmouth shoutout to BtVS, but then facing all the old monsters just felt a little too BtVS season 7.

I have to watch again, but my first impression of Sam deciding Chuck is gone, and when they beat this new onslaught, he'll stay gone just seemed lazy. Can't decide if Sam and Dean are being lazy for jumping to that conclusion, or if the writers just want us to buy that with nothing to back it up but Sam's decision that that's how it is.

Seger's "Famous Final Scene" made me cry.

All in all, I'd probably give it a B.

I wanted Jack's possessor to be Crowley, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

What did you all think?

[Added spoiler font, in case I posted too early.]

It hasn't run on the west coast yet.
