I think I'm more a fan of the fandom than the show, now.
Yeah. The episodes I've liked best lately have really been all about the fans, too.
However, I am oddly hopeful that next season Show will capitalize on the opportunities afforded by Crowley embracing evil, Death dying, and the Darkness being released and be compelling watching again.
I wish they would announce next year as the final season.
I just wish I could get "Shake It Off" out of my head.
I just came here to post that while I'm behind on episodes, I think I've watched that parody nearly ten times now, also the behind the scenes video. I even watched the Taylor Swift vid (suxors) and the Twenty One Two cover. Parody is the best! It makes me so happy.
Also, that TS vid is so embarrassing and bad. If she was aiming for charmingly self deprecating she missed by a mile and landed in the land of completely talentless.
I wonder if that parody is why Dean mentioned Taylor Swift in one episode.
That's a pleasant thought.
I suspect it's more likely that comment was what the fans seized on to come up with the parody concept.
I had a bit of a Supernatural moment today on the way to meeting friends for dim sum— a black impala (current model, not classic) passed me while "Thunderstruck" was playing on the radio.
Living in KS, I have sen at least 3 vintage black Impala with KS plates, and every damned time, screamed "WINCHESTERS!"
I'm a dork. Luckily my husband also watches SPN.
Padalecki has been little seen since he bowed out of two European cons in May. He turned up at the Gilmore Girls reunion today, though. The group interview will run later this week on the Today show, for anyone who's interested.
