Kat, I hope to be there? I know of the legoland dates. I'm really falling down as a grown up, reserving it for the next day.

I kind of miss going to the polls on Election Day. Oregon votes by mail (or drop-off boxes if you'd prefer) which is convenient but you can't get a sticker!
I never get a sticker in Chicago. I just get a slip of paper.
I could have voted early, but didn't because I've been too busy running around buying Elsa tutu dresses and Cinderella shoes and watching hockey and potentially uprooting my whole life to move across the country. I'm going to vote in the morning. Possibly so I can use it as an excuse if it makes me late for meetings.
I don't need a sticker, and I do like voting by mail because then I can ignore or tell the very persistent campaign workers that I already voted.
I bought a chicken tikka masala burrito for dinner tonight. NOM. And I have leftovers for tomorrow!
I forgot about the stickers. I do like getting those. I'm going to vote after work because before work is too damn early but I like this "excuse for being late" concept.
I finally made the lamb breast stuffed with kale and stewed with carrots that I have been meaning to make for an embarrassingly long time (the carrots are actually a recent addition to the plan, but they may be integral to the flavor profile. The fat of the lamb and the bitter of the kale do well with that bit of sweetness) and it is quite tasty. Perhaps more importantly, I did not burn myself! 1 for 3 today.
Ooh, also hard-boiled some eggs to devil for the potluck on Friday and did not burn myself in that process, either.
Well done, Not So Burned Minus t!
-t, if you are wondering, I'm voting for Torlakson not because he's a great superintendant, but because Tuck, in his career so far, has been pushing for the increased privatization of education. His Green Dot charters do not perform better than neighborhood schools in the same neighborhoods but they do increase the instability of the school system.
While I believe reform is absolutely necessary, I cannot abide the thought of the privatization and corporatization of the education system.

I voted by absentee ballot a couple of weeks ago. With the wide-ranging interviews and whatnot, I wasn't sure I'd be in town on voting day. And I didn't want to miss my chance to vote against Tom Tillis.
Sara, we are going to Legoland next weekend instead (did K mention the date change?) because hotel rooms are significantly cheaper.
Oh man, my brain is not willing to sleep.
Ginger, thank you for the info! The endo who gave me the info about Grace's genetic stuff didn't have enough background to really help. I figured that I'd need more info on which chromosomes (but I did notice many of the more well documented translocations are fertility busters).
