So if you're going to have one of your pre-holiday freak out complete with preceding nonfact based anxiety attack from left field, it's not good for lap times. Broke my awesome streak, but that might also be the crappy weather and leave dust from this morning. But forcing myself to ride it out because I knew I'd be even more down if I cut my swim short for that bullshit was a net win.
I do wonder if it's just the time of year and/or immersion in leave crap or if I might be fighting something off. Have some random sore nodes to go with angry sinuses.

The heat is set to come on in the morning if it is not 68. ( same temp for evenings) 60 when we are not home. 62 for bedtime - and it only comes on occasionally. finally got a thermostat that I can set up daily.
Dia de los muertos has become a big thing in Niles - so we had an opening ceremony with aztec dancers, spanih/mexican dancers, and mariachis. 60 or so alters around town. Tonight was the closing ceremony which included belly dancers, fire dancers, and a drum circle. It was chilly out there. But Matt and I made a veggie yellow curry that was really tasty and warming.
Whew, I managed to at least make five breakfasts and two lunches to get me through the week. If I can pull off dinner tomorrow after work, those leftovers might cover my remaining meals.
Aside from the pot luck on Friday but that is a problem for Thursday -t.
I was standing at Clark and Wacker with a great view of the wire until about 6:30 when I decided I didn't want to stand there anymore. Standing makes my back hurt when I can't move around. It sounds like he finally decided to cross about the time I got on the train.
I'd like to rip my sinuses out and beat this wind to death with them.
Too bad... but then you really don't want a tight-rope walker to feel rushed.
I had a middle of the night anxiety attack (less than a panic attack, just couldn't stop thinking about how much money I have left and how fast it's going to go) so I self-medicated with The Walking Dead, as they've definitely got more problems than I do.
Today I'm having minor surgery to remove the cyst on my forehead that makes an unsightly bump, which I've been waiting for anxiously for months. So wish me minor-surgery-ma.
