Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I 'm glad you were there for them , Juliebird. Even if you didn't know him well. it is always nice to deal with someone that knew your loved one, even if it was a little

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That was A Day. Mostly it was good, although one woman came who I honestly wouldn't have invited and I hope I never have to see her again. My sister loved her, but I do not. But everyone else was lovely to see, and lovely to see them find mementos, often gifts they had given my sister. And look through old photos, which are still kind of hard for me actually. All in all, an exercise in letting go.

There is still too much left that I will need to box up.

One unexpected and sweet moment: my brother gave me a gold/zirconia ring (I assume its zirconia and not diamond) that he found one day on the street. He gave it to me because he realized it would fit perfectly, and it does. Said it was for being a good sister and taking care of the estate. Made me a little teary.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is sweet, Burrell. I'm glad the day was mostly good.

Well, I accomplished very little today, but I pretty much did what I had planned, so I'll call that a win.

Tomorrow I will be more ambitious.

Ambitious is over rated, especially on a Sunday.

More ambitious than today is still a low bar, believe me.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

The fact that you are acknowledging that you will be ambitious, is perhaps, more ambitious than I already plan on being.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

MOre ambitious than me anyway. My big accomplishment this week was being able to sleep in a bed instead of a chair last night.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I went for a run with my niece. And I didn't fall over, and it wasn't horribly painful, although it was short. So I guess I'm on the way back. But I'm still dizzy often: no bicycling for me until I can safely look around at the traffic.

And I did two loads of laundry, and picked up around the house, and vacuumed, and groomed the dog. And then we took my dad out for dinner at a nice new restaurant (which I hadn't realized it was that expensive, my plan was just for burgers and beer).

Not a bad day--especially with some really good soccer to watch.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Worked hard enough yesterday to leave me a bit sore this morning. Including moving bookcases.

My sister: Gosh, why are books so darn heavy? Me: They're TREES.

My exciting agenda for today is cleaning a bathroom and folding an excess of laundry. And probably a nap.
