We are getting our usual slew of TorTers starting around 7. Maybe 6:30? Anyway had quite a few already, all in the wee zone. I may have underbought, so may have to close shop before the teens show up at around 9.

No T-or-Ters, as is normal since even people from our neighborhood have no idea our block even exists.
(Seriously. It's like it's some kind of top secret pocket universe thingy. That, or the very bad lighting on the nearest streetcorner.)
We ditched and went to the fencing club party dressed up as Ennis Del Mar and DCI Gene Hunt, which is to say, totally unrelated costumes we could throw together at 7pm based on stuff we already own. Nobody got either reference, but a good time was had by all.
Total score: 100% of the candy for ourselves, and whatever fencing mom brought a bottle of 15-year Macallan wins everything forever.

Oh, the DCI mention reminded me of one teen. He had a hat (trilby?) with checkerboard band,a black utility vest over smart white shirt and tie, smart cargo khakis and shiny black oxfords. Looked very smart, but I was confused. I asked. He said he was a British patrol cop, but he couldn't find a neon windbreaker. Ok then!

I had one kid who was dressed such that I guessed, thinking Halloween, Men In Black? Nope, just Secret Service. Well okay then!
Teens are already coming by, so that's good. Won't feel bad if have to close shop early. I have candy for about 15 more kids, and pretty sure all the toddlers are done for the night.

Had the lamest t&ters nothing original. Like 10 ninjas. A few with just paint on their faces. No kids I knew. Went threw 1.5 bags of candy by handing out multiple pieces. Lame.
So Mac is officially entering 3rd week sans electronics. He would have to make 100 on big ungraded assignments to get his grade to a 70. Those grades might get posted over the weekend. Not holding my breathe for 100s.

Oh msbelle, we just found out Franny didn't turn in a big assignment that she had actually finished. sigh. She just seems hell bent on tanking her grade, so she gets As on the one hand and then forgets to turn in a bunch of other stuff and gets herself a C. I keep telling myself she WILL grow up at some point.
