Connie, this sort of worry is exhausting because you can't solve it - you don't know if there's actually reason to worry or not! I'm worn out and feel like crap. I'm going to go to bed and try to sleep... on the sheets I forgot to wash today, crap. Oh well. The washing machine will still be there tomorrow.
most likely.
I hope you can sleep, Zen. Trust your other alarms.
Sensible advice, -t, thanks.
my house is not on fire
ffs
Like -t said, trust your other alarms. It probably just has a dirty sensor or something.
Shrift, I'm afraid my job hunt has been in different fields than yours. Higheredjobs.com has produced the most interviews for me, but that only helps if you want a job in higher ed. Sorry you're at a point where you have to look.
Nothing says monday morning like a large dead rat in the parking garage.
Yeah, that's hard to top.
Strix! Yay!
I know! I'm so HAPPY! She's purring on my lap right now.
YAYAYAY! Silly Cosmo -- stay home next time!
I'm calling her Scarface for now. It looks a couple of days old, but it's a surface scrape and it doesn't appear suppurating or infected. .
She is following me ALL around the house. I love it
