Since I haven't had to drive anywhere today, I haven't been able to test it much, but I do know that when you start a drive, he says "Are you prepared?"
I will be trying this tomorrow when I drive home.
4 shots of how my day started (not shits as I emailed my parents) and then how it went, annotated in the individual descriptions [link]
Will keep adding to the album.
Buying appropriate anchors in the morning. Applying bourbon now.

Oh, and there probably was wallpaper under umpteen layers of paint. I think under the bilious blue turquoise paint. There was plaster-paper-thick plaster, several coats of paint, paper, blue. 83 years, shit happens.
Have I ever told you guys I found out this was a halfway house at one point? 80s , I think. Need to quiz that neighbor more.
Thanks, guys. I like this doctor, and I'm already feeling better overall, so I have good hopes.
sarameg, think of it as an adventure...?
Lots of people paint over wallpaper. I don't know why, it's awful. It's just easier, I guess.
I will try Waze, just for Ichabod.

I once had to sit through an hour-long session on how to use the new photocopier.
I feel like I remember seeing ads for paint you could use over wallpaper, once upon a time.
Every home improvement/repair in my house is an adventure. I've accepted that. Comes with the years and changing standards, good and bad. (Good=better wiring and plumbing. Flat roofs, yeahno. Bad=lost arts like plastering which last 80 years, but are now spendy to restore. And this house is freaking solid, even with as much neglect as it has seen.)
And once I realized the plaster had to go, popping the rest off was fun! I'm a picker, I like peeling and scraping. (Yes, I was the kid who played with Elmer's and rubber cement to peel it off...)
