That's lovely TB.
I'm taking today off, ostensibly for Canadian thanksgiving. Here at the cottage with my family enjoying a bit of fall. We all needed this badly.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Makes sense. ETA that was originally to tommyrot, but also holds for brenda.
My office is open but our credit department is closed (because banks? Not sure) so operations are somewhat delayed. I think this is the only holiday when that happens.
I'm on vacation all week, this isn't a holiday for me.
I'm going to throttle my cats if they pull down all the sheeting I've tacked up. They are currently attacking each other under a sheet covering the chair.
I know that can be annoying, but cats under curtains/sheets/skirts are (one of) my kryptonite. Adorbs.
I do love when a cat does the Army crawl up under the sheets on an otherwise neatly made bed. Just a telltale lump.
I am off today, but may do some work anyway, depending on how much people are on email. Good times.
My cat only wants to get under the covers with me at 6:15 AM on a workday. Days I'm sleeping in he doesn't give a damn, only when he can wake me 30-45 minutes before the alarm does he paw sweetly at the covers so he can snuggle.
Happy birthdays to megan walker and Cash!
Last week when I was sick my cat spent nearly every possible moment snuggling with me. He's cuddlesome, but not usually that cuddlesome. Now I'm pretty much better and he's back to his usual schedule (an hour of lap time followed by four hours of grooming and napping elsewhere). It's nice that he cares, to the extent that cats can care. Or maybe he was all "Mmmmmm, feverlicious!" and now that's over.
Um, I just got a package delivered by the USPS. I'm a little confused (but happy to have the package). There was also mail in the box, and I'm 99.9% sure it wasn't left over from Saturday (ISTR bringing in Saturday's mail around dinnertime, and it was only 1 piece of junk mail).
I even looked up whether the USPS was delivering today, because I thought maybe Columbus Day was rescinded as a mail holiday, but no -- everything says no mail today.
WHAT IS HAPPENING.
