I'm actually way more huggy than I used to be, but most people can still tell when I'm flinching away from one. From a hug! Not from the person! I would often love to give the person a very warm and friendly handshake!

ION, is it weird that I think I'd rather come into the office on Monday than bring my computer and stuff home and work there?
I don't think so. I find working from home more onerous than coming into the office, usually. Home is where I don't work!
That's what I decided. Especially because then I'll spend Sunday thinking I should just get it over with, etc., when instead I can just plan to go at X time on Monday. Done!
I keep forgetting Monday is a holiday for some people. I'm not a fan of Columbus, but I could sure use a holiday in October.
I went out to run some errands, and being as it's a Who Gives a Damn day, I wore my black leather newsboy cap with a black t-shirt with a wolf on it. I went to Red Robin for lunch, and my waitress was hipper than usual, with a discreet piercing and a bandana around her head. I'm not sure what particular vibe I was giving off, but after I gave her my usual order, which didn't require checking the menu, she grinned at me and said, "I like your style." I don't think anyone's ever said that to me before.
That's cool, Connie.
OMG I have so much TV to watch! I don't know where to start.
In DVD news, did anyone else know that Jonathan Pryce played Sherlock Holmes in a movie from 2007 called I Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars ? I got a DVD catalog today with that in it, and I'm tempted. $10 with shipping.

Word. It's really great timing, halfway between summer and Thanksgiving.
I have survived midterms week. Now I really want to sleep all weekend, but I actually have to spend all weekend cleaning my apartment, which is kind of approaching disaster zone levels of clutter.
