Wow. Just had a breakdown with ugly crying over...I don't even know. And it won't let go. Greatful I work at home cause it burbles up without warning and won't stop.
Aw, Suzi. Deep breaths, and maybe some tea?
Just downed a bottle of water and the tears seem to have subsided. I have karate in 30 minutes and I am going to NEED to hit things.
55 hours...it will be done. The auction will be over, money counted, and DONE.
Karate sounds like a good thing.
You guys, I have so much more work to do today, and I don't know if I have it in me. And I have lots of meetings tomorrow, including three interviews, so not much chance there, either.
Timelies all!
~ma to you and your mother, Anne.
Today in Weirdness at your Library: this afternoon a man asked me where he could get poison on the black market (eventually it seemed clear that he was suicidal, so we got the social worker involved, but for a while there I was worried he wanted to kill someone else); just now, a young man requested our copy of "Embalming: history, theory, and practice."
Well, winter *is* coming.
In most circumstances I'd give the embalming guy a pass. I've researched a few quirky topics myself. But coming after the suicidal customer, I'd be way more prone to jump to other kinds of conclusions.
Where is the black market, anyway?
