Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

NB: I have been looking for the savory cheesecake recipe and can't find it. I will continue the search.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had an email last night (legit, work email) from someone whose first name is Karlmarx.

My father knew a brother and sister Stalin and Staliny. I feel like they were Caribbean of some sort, but not Cuban....

The Intertubes have failed me. I can get a cooker with a timer, I can get a small cooker. I cannot get both--though I think I could find one if I spent $150. No.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

What about a timer on outlet and a crock plugged into that? Like Christmas lights?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Okay, Karlmarx cracks me up in an Old Skool Red Diaper Baby kind of way, but Stalin and Staliny? Because one kid named after a totalitarian dictator wasn't enough?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The small round ones are generally pretty stripped down, yeah. But also, it's hard to find recipes for them. I think you might be better off with one of the 5 - 6 quart models.

But here's a programmable 3 quart one. Not super cheap, but not $100 either.

Yeah, I don't know. She had kind of shifted the pronunciation so it was pretty close to Stephanie, but I don't know how the boy handled it!

I don't suppose his middle name was a viable option?

Oh, nice. I wonder if that's the one Cooks Illustrated was going to recommend. I refuse to sign up with CI just to read their reviews and recipes--though yes, that's their business model, they're prerogative, etc, but ignoring them is mine too. End rant out of nowhere.

I'm cooking for two people, and I don't have a working freezer. Too many leftovers means food gets thrown out.

I really don't get the appeal of slowcookers for one or two people. I guess it's just not for me. Not how I was raised!

So I haven't actually read this, because it's about (a) Supernatural and (b) sisters, and I don't have time, but the comments say it's great and possibly makes you cry? [link] Enjoy.
