That's the house next to the library! Also, you'd be right on the parade route! Also -- YES, obviously! Life in the Taco District is great. t edit Man, I love that porch.

Oh, the proper upkeep of all that millwork. But the blue room--dining room?--is such a perfect blue. Is that Wedgewood Blue?

All I can see, though, is people bashing themselves on that piano by the front door.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

What a gorgeous house!

Our neighborhood has some amazing old homes. The Historical Socieety does (or did) a walking tour of Northside, and I can't remember if we stopped at that house or not. I know we stopped at the library next door. (All outside; the tour didn't include going in the buildings.)

(Our house, however, is not one of the amazing old homes. It's a tiny 2-bedroom bungalow with not enough storage space and too much stuff. It would be a good stop on a tour of hoarders.)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Lovely house!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ugh. All the Easy Spirit stores in my general vicinity have closed. Nearest thing are outlet stores in Leesburg and in the Potomac Mills outlet mall, neither of which are convenient to me. I have ordered shoes on-line, and hope the pumps fit reasonably well. (If they do, I'll have dress shoes for a while as I don't wear them often.)

I'm leery of outlet stores since finding out that a lot of manufacturers produce items directly for the outlets and they're not as good as the regular stuff with their name on it.

ION, I finally have a DVD of Edwardian Farm coming to me! And since I got a $15 gift card for doing a survey, it was half price! But still can't find a Region 1 version of Victorian Farm.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

As a former barista, Starbucks coffee is burnt swill. I can definitely handle the medium or light roasts, but everything else tastes over-roasted.

Can't figure out who my new neighbor is, there's so many people coming and going. I'm a bit fearful that it was the pretty blonde bombshell who got out of her minivan in her perfectly white sundress, put on a harvest themed apron, pulled on her neoprene kitchen gloves, pulled out all of her cleaning supplies, and waved jauntily at me. I felt like I was in Pleasantville.

So long as she isn't the lady with the dog. That will end in blood and tears. Hopefully the dogs and hers, not the cats and mine.

At least they're leaving my mail in the mailbox, instead of letting it fester on top of their fridge.
