I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

They've go that blond roast now, I hear. I did get all fancy one time and try a Clover brewed, um, Kona? A bean from some specific region. I think I asked for something with a lighter roast, too, before we settled on the bean. Not this last gift card but the one before. Perhaps just asking for coffee instead of getting terribly specific was my mistake this time, but the drive-thru did not lend itself to all that.

Go tommyrot! I hope you can find something to help, whatever the cause turns out to be. Non-specific fatigue is such a drag.

I am one of THOSE Seattle people, and will only go to Starbucks if it is the only option

Yes. I generally don't go if I'm in Seattle (granted, this is partly because if I'm walking there, there are about six better coffee shops that are all closer--if they were farther, I might not). But I do go if I'm traveling, if I'm not having breakfast at the hotel, because I know what my options are--it's more for the food than the coffee (at a local place, they might have good stuff, or they might only have sketch pastries)

I read that as "blood" roast and was taken aback.

I did try the new "Oprah Chai". I think it might have crack in it, because I've had it two more times since, and keep craving it.

Vampires who need caffeine are a tragically unsupported market.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

So, we have more marriage equality, Twin Peaks is coming back, and I'm almost fucking done with the workload that's trying to kill me (though one coordinator sent me Old Job stuff today and was thoughtful enough to say "you can return this when you finish [New Job Stuff]", so I emailed back and said "Great! I'll have it back tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday morning!").

Not a bad Monday.

Oh! And I'm eating a honeycrisp apple RIGHT NOW and god, it is so good.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Not a bad Monday.

Also, Marvel just announced a Squirrel Girl ongoing series, written by Ryan North.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

That's nuts (snerk)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I did try the new "Oprah Chai". I think it might have crack in it, because I've had it two more times since, and keep craving it.

On behalf of my former employer, one of the beneficiaries, thank you! The Choprah (TM a guy at my local Starbucks) is the only thing I've bought at a non-hotel Starbucks in years.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The woodwork in that house is KILLER.
