yay walkers! Also yay for old school goths, and youthful adorers!
We biked to brunch, now we are home doing homework, by which I mean Franny (math) and I (grading) are doing homework, and Cody is trying to help Franny understand hers. One big challenge for her? It's so much harder to learn the lesson when you write down NONE of the answer when the teacher works it out on the board in class. Oy vey! Middle school is going to kill me.
I'm catching up on last week's Daily Show and finally have seen the bit where they talk about a new terrorist "supergroup" that includes members from ISIS, Al Qaeda, etc. and One Direction. Which One Directions fans FLIPPED THEIR SHIT OVER. I really appreciate their shit-flipping, but would take it more seriously if I thought anyone who worked for TDS has any idea that 1D has a member who is a Muslim.

(Please don't let FB's ridiculous coding break the board.)
I wish I had the oomph to keep perfect eyebrows like theirs (and yours). So so pretty.
I've had a productive couple of days going through ALL THE PAPERS. I have two shopping bags full of stuff to shred, and all the papers are ready to go into their spiffy new file box. Spiffy old file box will get repurposed, as it only holds letter-sized files.
In other news, I've had Finn the cat for nearly a year, and he looks more like a James Bond villain cat than ever before now that he's full grown and his winter coat is coming in. I am considering re-naming him Renfield given his fondness for catching and eating bugs. He is chasing a fly even as I type.
What a great picture, Jilli!
Aw, a year of Finn! My fluffy mostly white kitty makes me feel like I should be plotting to take over the world sometimes.
Well, now I know that rolling apple slices into something that looks like roses is not something I am naturally good at it. I don't think I'm going to pursue greater proficiency in that particular skill, either. Regardless, tarts are assembled to my satisfaction and chilling in the fridge. Hopefully squirting all the apple slices with lemon will keep them from looking too terrible unappetizing tomorrow.
Ha ha fell down the stairs. Shouldn't be too bad waiting on Uber.
Oh no, does that mean an extra ER visit, ita?
ita, take care, I want to come and wrap you in soft cotton and hugs. You'd kill me, of course, but it might be worth it.
All you people with the cooking and the going places and the doing stuff. I've slept most of the day. The new AD seems to be working but it makes me sleepy. I'm trying to be productive but I can barely remember what day it is. I'm glad I have a smartphone now that remembers stuff for me.
Do you have a photo of grown-up Finn, Anne? I adore fluffy white cats.
