'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Isn't it technically back legpits?

Well, yes, but it takes longer to figure that out.

God, Loki was incessant with the digging of the covers this mornings well before it was time to get up.

ION, squirrels have figured out how to reach feeder. But not quite enough to funnel like frat boys.

Market time!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I feel like shit. Just a cold, but man. I slept 11 hours last night, and don't think I can go see my father today. I'd better feel better tomorrow for the Alzheimer's Walk!

There's the Fluff Festival this afternoon in Union Square -- Marshmallow Fluff was invented in Somerville, which is as good a justification as any, I suppose. Tomorrow is the Alzheimer's charity walk, so I can rightfully say my weekend is full.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

We're having my hometown's annual BBQ fest on my street today, and the cats are freaking out over the soundchecks. Which makes me wonder how they reacted to the 100 decidel wall of static that greeted me when I walked out the front door this morning - it sounded like an airplane was taking off down Main Street.

Oh man -- I wanted to go the Fluff Festival, too!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have nothing on my dance card this weekend. A bunch of stuff I should do around the house, as always, but no plans as such.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm taking Dad to lunch and getting my eyes checked (time for a new prescription, I think), and then if I have time, I'm going to a free home festival in Richmond.

On the down side, I've learned that my electrical system is kind of fucked and not up to code, and probably I'll have to spend thousands of dollars getting the house rewired. Which really doesn't bode well for my fantasy of an awesome new kitchen. SIGH.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The University of Illinois has posted a comprehensive list of stains and how to remove them

I don't know what it says about me that I am geeking out over this.
