There's the Fluff Festival this afternoon in Union Square -- Marshmallow Fluff was invented in Somerville, which is as good a justification as any, I suppose. Tomorrow is the Alzheimer's charity walk, so I can rightfully say my weekend is full.

We're having my hometown's annual BBQ fest on my street today, and the cats are freaking out over the soundchecks. Which makes me wonder how they reacted to the 100 decidel wall of static that greeted me when I walked out the front door this morning - it sounded like an airplane was taking off down Main Street.
Oh man -- I wanted to go the Fluff Festival, too!
I have nothing on my dance card this weekend. A bunch of stuff I should do around the house, as always, but no plans as such.
I'm taking Dad to lunch and getting my eyes checked (time for a new prescription, I think), and then if I have time, I'm going to a free home festival in Richmond.

I'm having my car looked at, the starting is being odd. Such brave new world that I can make car appointments from bed. And there's a thing at the grocery store where I can drop off old drugs. I can finally get rid of that briefcase of Hubby's stash.
So, in a series of improbable and stupid events last night, my father managed to run him self over with his pick-up last night.
His truck broke down so they were pushing it, it started to roll, do he dove for the wheel, fell, hit his head, and the tire went over his leg and foot.
According to him (and to the paramedics who drive him home!) he's fine, just bruised and scraped.
All of which came out during a conversation an hour ago about why he renewed his AAA last night.
Jesus effing Christ I can't even.
Today is the enormous gothy yard sale. Wish me many sales, and no drama. (It's full of goths, there's a chance of drama.)
Sales up drama down ~ma, Jilli!
Good lord, brenda. I'm glad he's okay, but that is just wow.

Grey's: I was doubtful that I'd be into this season with no more Yang, but I'm liking secret half-sister and all the drama she promises.
