I manage to stay reasonably relaxed, but a lot of shit doesn't get done. So it goes.

So I'm on a jury. Classic. At least it should be short, and won't be upsetting.
Hope it works out to be as easy as possible. And the buses co-operate as long as you need them to.
I feel like I'm only a somewhat functional adult these days. Like shit gets done, but I'm always way more stressed out than circumstances warrant.
This is me too. I do the stuff that HAS to get done, and that's about it. The bills pay themselves, thank Hermes for autopay, because I would not be able to keep up with paying them. I'm always stressed about what I haven't done, and equally stressed over what I AM doing.
This is a much shorter paragraph than I first wrote. Having read what I wrote down, I think I made the right call, going back to the therapist and the psychiatrist. I am clearly depressed; even I can diagnose this.

To quote Allie Brosh, "...an award for everyone who manages to work and email and take care of kids and not kill their plants." YOU are a Responsibility Champion!
I swear I didn't hit Post on that; it posted itself just as I was about to delete it. So I think I'll leave it there.

I think this also = Responsibility Champion. Taking care of yourself = Job One.

Yes, this.
Connie, next time just bring in the Mountain Dew in a Coca Cola bottle.
That's the stupidest rule I've ever heard of, but I suppose it's worth it to keep the nurses happy with your husband.
Since we're quoting Hyperbole and a Half, I'm about to go to the bank like a motherfucking adult. Booyah. (I am not, however, taking a shower before I go. Working from home is leading to me having the personal hygiene standards of a C.H.U.D. [I do always shower before Tim comes home. Usually RIGHT BEFORE he comes home, but I am by god clean before he walks in the door.])
