Timelies all!
Triglycerides tend to be my main issue. I had gotten them down to the healthy range in 2013, but this year they were up again. My good cholesterol is a little low. I'm currently taking flaxseed oil =and= fish oil pills but that's not enough. I know, more fruit and veggies, fewer simple carbs and more exercise. I'm doing better on the exercise front than the diet change front. Stupid sweet tooth.
That's a lot of hoops, aurelia. Fingers crossed for you!
I AM IN MY OWN APARTMENT! And it is empty of other people's things! And I can have popcorn for dinner and watch my stories! Hooray.
Hooray indeed!
I should be running right now, or warming up or changing into appropriate clothes or something. But I'm tiiiired.
I also have to start taking my cholesterol level more seriously. Last year my total was at the very bottom of the borderline zone and this year it is at the very top. I am trying to do better about food, but I still refuse to eat oatmeal.
Okay. I am still in Tucson and dad is still with us. I am very glad I came out when I did, because he hasn't really been awake or aware since Monday morning, but I got to chat with him Sunday night (I misunderstood what mom was saying In her email about his level of consciousness.)
This process really sucks ass though.
I have no idea what my cholesterol is, nor my bp when I'm not in a lot of pain (then it is kinda high, but pain!)
So I came home to a notice that the city will be replacing the sidewalks on my street starting sometime this week. I'm excited! Our are all buckled and uneven and while probably not as old as the hood, at least 4 decades.
New sidewalks are exciting! We need them too, but I think we might have to pay for them
