Okay. I am still in Tucson and dad is still with us. I am very glad I came out when I did, because he hasn't really been awake or aware since Monday morning, but I got to chat with him Sunday night (I misunderstood what mom was saying In her email about his level of consciousness.)
This process really sucks ass though.
I have no idea what my cholesterol is, nor my bp when I'm not in a lot of pain (then it is kinda high, but pain!)
So I came home to a notice that the city will be replacing the sidewalks on my street starting sometime this week. I'm excited! Our are all buckled and uneven and while probably not as old as the hood, at least 4 decades.
New sidewalks are exciting! We need them too, but I think we might have to pay for them

I'm glad you're there and got to talk to him, Lee.
Have I mentioned that I am not in favor of mortality? I am not.
Completely bailing on the idea of running today. Watching Sleepy Hollow instead.
I know if you request sections of new sidewalk, or have to destroy a section, they'll bill you for replacement, but not if it is part of the normal replacement schedule.
Or if the cause of damage is city trees. Which is largely the problem here.
Have a distraction! (It's an image recap of the latest Outlander, and it's pretty adorbs, even if, like me, you do not watch Outlander.) [link]
Best to you Lee. Glad you are getting some time
Lee, I'm sorry.
Bt totally won the password conversation(No, it's neither of those, nicely done, though.)
The damage to my sidewalk is from city trees, but I think I would still need to pay for it.

That is adorbs! I haven't seen the series, but I read enough of the books to understand.
