Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Were you looking for the love getaway?

I was actually listening to the song while I read this!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's [privately speaking] terrific, Jilli!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Were you looking for the love getaway?

I'm ashamed to say, we stayed there for almost a month, and I never made the association. Possibly because we didn't drive a Chrysler of any size.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Go, Jilli!

Wheee Jilli!

I need to figure out where to go on vacation. Someplace rural and quiet.

I have been fantasizing about a cottage by the ocean. And a big pile of books.

When's the Iceland eclipse? Not that I can afford it, but hey, it's only money.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

For Tom, I feel like there are deals for places to stay that are usually skiing places, so not so big in the summer. Travel Zoo and that kind of thing.
