Natter 73: Chuck Norris only wishes he could Natter

That's a great episode. I liked the whole season, more or less -- a couple of the episodes in the very beginning were a little off, and the palette seemed different all of a sudden (brighter, I guess).
Did you like the last two episodes of S2? Jensen Ackles/Dean does some awesome work there.
S3 is probably my least favourite. I don't know if it would be possible to tell if that was just the writer's strike (although the current "wisdom" is that nothing after S5 should have happened, it's not like we're just a *little* past that point--I'm a dissenter who thinks it would have been an awkward end to the series, but it's when the original showrunner leaves.)
Episode 12 (Jus in Bello) is one of the 'flawless' episodes for me, though.
Which reminds me--I haven't updated my ratings spreadsheet since season 6...
I really disliked season 6. The seasons past then, I've liked some stuff, not liked other stuff, but for the most part, the big arcs haven't held together for me like they did in the earlier seasons.
I've liked the finales a lot.
and yes ita, that ep stands out thus far. really good stuff in that.
weirdness of my day…finding out my family knows Darren Wilson's grandparents. They were estranged from the mother and I have no idea if they even knew him, but still Jesusita.
Once the premise of S6 was made clear, I liked it a lot more. But it felt like that was the point--how far could they stretch you? Which they're probably going to do again this season, I think/fear.
(As far as flawless goes, I think the funniest S6 episode was fucking epic--The French Mistake--every season has one or two episodes that I love with a passion, even if I thought the whole thing was weak. So kind of like how some people think even Route 666 or Bugs can be redeemed by moments within (DISAGREE), I will not give any of the seasons back entire, because I need my favourite episodes so badly. Also The Man Who Would Be King--Misha is a fucking genius, and every Cas-centric episode I rate highly.)
Well, I got two loads of laundry cleaned AND put away, same with a couple loads of dishes, so I'm doing better than I thought I would be earlier today.
Man, I can't remember whether I preferred any particular season or episode of SPN. I'm sure I must have.
Oh crap, I think I have laundry in the dryer.
I can't remember whether I preferred any particular season or episode of SPN. I'm sure I must have.
I find there are these clubs:
- everything after Kripke sucks
- everything Gamble showran sucks
- S5 was the rightful end
- everything before Misha sucks
- S1 sucks
I could work on a Venn diagram. Anyway, if you know which of those you belong to (I belong to none), it would help you narrow down seasons. As far as episodes go--all the finales is a good start, as well as I mentioned before, anything Cas-centric, and most of the high emotion or comedy episodes, like What Is and What Should Never Be or Changing Channels for me. I suppose they were aiming for high emotion or comedy in all of the episodes, but some are clearly more weighty than others, and I think their success rate with obvious emotional or comedic manipulation is very high.
Then again, racist trucks. I guess that episode does have clear appealing bits, but I stand by Bugs as being USELESS.
So guess who can't find the title to her old car?
It's in the house somewhere, but didn't make it back into the fire safe after we registered the car in Texas.
