Whoa! I... I think I'm having a thought. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a thought. Now I'm having a plan. Now I'm having a wiggins.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Other than the weekly groceries trip, no plans here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Dishwasher and washing machine are running, one bed is made, I have given the bathroom a lick and a promise, and did a truly half-assed job of dusting. Luckily, I know these are not super neat people.

Jesse, that's very kind of you!

I've upgraded to eating an empanada while pinned by cats. Doves on the line outside my kitchen window seem to be warming in the sun. And why do I keep hearing jets? That doesn't start again until 2.

I often feel slightly ridiculous that two of us live in this four-bedroom house, so.

Did anyone else hear the puzzle on NPR this morning? Last week's challenge was about taking the first T off a word and ending up with a (phonetic) synonym. Will's answer was twirl->whirl, but apparently more than one person sent in twerk->work, which Will described as "facetious." Oh, Will Shortz -- you better WERK.

Well, that last one was a massive transport prop plane, but I don't think it was part of the air display...been a lot of those lately.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Since I was going away for a week, and I wanted my car taking up room at the mechanic's where he will be properly motivated to search for a replacement engine every day instead of just when he remembers in a hectic work life, I am now temporarily car-less, which will at least save me on gas and the possibility of parking tickets. Plus, you know, motivation to walk places.

Of course, I didn't plan on post-vacation fibromyalgia. Thank goodness for grocery delivery services, though I can put that off for a couple days if I wanna.

Punishingly Intricate

I am at work today for the third Sunday in a month. I don't feel like I can complain too much because I do get OT but, omg, so tired. And anxious about how I'm going to get everything done this week when I've got after work commitments most days. Plus am at a whole day meeting on Tuesday and a half day Wednesday. Too much!

I just glanced at the TV listings and read Real Wives of Melbourne as Real Wives of Melniboné. Now that would be reality TV interesting enough to make me watch.

I am annoyed with myself for continuously buying a couple of things at a time at the supermarket, therefore never qualifying for the little stickers that eventually add up to a free pan! You know, when I was a kid, I was obsessed with my grandmother's Green Stamps, so I guess it makes sense that I am still obsessed with this thing.

I still have the WorldBook encyclopedia that my Mom collected that way!
