Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I need to learn how to shoot a gun. Because in last night's dream I was with the crew of Serenity and we were under attack by zombies and I couldn't get the bolt-action rifle I found to fire. I'm pretty sure I chambered the round ok and I was thinking the safety might still be on, but it was too dark to tell by looking at it in the rec room we were in.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, Strix!

I got my deviled eggs made. Well, the whites are peeled and halved and the filling is mixed up and in an icing bag. I tried slicing the last six eggs equatorially instead of longitudinally and I think that might be the way to go in the future.

The status is NOT quo.

Tommy, I'm generally anti-gun, but I have to say that's the best reason to learn to shoot a gun I've ever heard.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also, if you learn to shoot a gun, you can one up gun-rights purists when they accuse you of never handling one. That throws them right off their script.

Good point.

Today is a cold, rainy and dreary day, and it's put me in a really good mood. Because Fall!

If i get a package delivered to me and the delivery person places it inside the building door and it gets stolen before I get home, I can say I never got it and they have to give me a new one, right?

Because AT&T will only ship a new iPhone to my billing address, and I want to buy one through AT&T to get the $200 trade-in for my iPhone 4S.

Maybe I'll call them and see if I can pick it up in an AT&T store.

If they use fedex, you can have it redirected to a fedex store for pickup. That's what I've done with stuff I have to sign for.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If you order from Apple, you can pick up at an Apple store.

That's a good idea. But I'd probably have to call them to find out if they ship FedEx.

Oh well--I'll just have to resign myself to talking with a human to get my new phone.

Is there a way to find out how much of a trade-in Apple would give me for my 4S? Because the AT&T trade-in of $200 sounds pretty good.

Plus to get Apple's trade-in allowance, don't I have to purchase (not just order online) the phone from an Apple store? That would probably take longer for me to get a phone, given that the 6+ is already in short supply.

eta: If I order the phone online from Apple, they'll just give me an Apple gift card, not credit for the purchase of a new one.
