Another helpful tip: don't do spicy dressing when you've just had a new/replacement filing that goes just under the gum line. Or involves brutalization of the gums at all. I got a bit of chile tucked right in there. Flossing it out didn't make it feel THAT much better. Ow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ow!

That's a hell of a story.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Trader Joe's also has bags of pizza dough in regular, whole wheat and something that has like garlic or herbs or something.

Also, if you see frozen bread or roll dough, that can be used for pizza.

Pillsbury pizza dough calzone is in the oven.

Got another medical bill from the last hospital. This one came up to about $200,000. I owe $15.94. Something in Radiology wasn't covered.

$100,000 in drugs. They certainly threw the pharmacopeia at this.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You can really go down the rabbit hole on the Rejected Princesses site....

The author said he'd write about Nanny, a Jamaican National Hero who led a "tribe" of escaped slaves in raids and fought for freedom. I can't wait. But, damn, so many women so many details. The entries get longer and longer--the Bathory one was especially fascinating.

Calzone consumed. The crust did a good job. Needed a better distribution of ricotta and Canadian bacon, and sauce needed more spice. An experiment worth repeating.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds good, Connie. I like an experimental meal that I can immediately see how to improve next time try it.

Deviled eggs are not getting made tonight. Oh well.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I went really old-school for dinner tonight: elbow noodles with olive oil and parmesan. I haven't had such a vegetable-free meal in quite a while. Nommy, but I may live to regret it.
