Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm out, finally.

They gave me some (more, Jesus) dilaudid as well as Toradol, and the sheer panic from this morning is now gone and although I'm still tender to the touch (no bra, bad bra!) my range of motion isn't as suddenly painfully curtailed, and it's no longer radiating in as many directions The general ER assessment was "I've never seen you like that." With a side of "Oh, we hadn't realised you had neck problems." Yeah, probably because you don't read things in the circular painseeker file in any detail. I've mentioned it a number of times.

I have a doctor's appointment for about 24 hours from now, and I'm trying to not think about lying down (every position so far hurts, and I am not inured to this pain in the least). I am considering sleeping sitting up tonight.

Burrell, if you could help me out with picking up prescriptions from the Walgreen's near me, I'd be forever indebted to you. If you could give me a lift there, or I could give you the information for them to just put it on my card, either way--eternal love. I've had dilaudid too recently to drive anywhere tonight,

Hey, Jilli, congrats! Best of luck with the next step.

Oh, ita. I'm glad you are home and had some success in the er.

Best of luck, Jilli!

My cats got a reprieve from dental work tomorrow (well, and me too, I wasn't sure how I was going to pull tomorrow off logisticwise, never mind the fretting.) All dental surgeries have to be rescheduled.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh § ita §, I hope you can get some rest in a seated position. May there be a solution that doesn't involve ER visits proposed tomorrow.

Interview~ma midnight edition will have to be sent before I go to sleep because that would be way past my bedtime even without the time difference.

Oh, ita. I hope it gets better soon. I've been cursing my body lately because I hadn't had any migraines in a while, and then have had three in the past week and a half, and am not happy...but my pain is very mild (and well controlled by drugs) compared to yours. :(

I love my daughter, but long term, this is going to be a challenge. Once she finishes school, she should have the time to work full time and find her own place. Right now, earning that kind of money, plus paying off the debt she and D got into, isn't going to happen.

Yeah, that doesn't sound long-term workable at all. Can she get a super cheap place with some folks? Sublet? House-sit?

Damn, I know a good studio-and-a-half apartment for cheap, but wrong part of the country.

Apparently, avocados now make me burpy. Great.

Apparently, I am getting a ipad mini for my birthday, given the cover that just arrived for one. I think my parents are trying to keep my tech current (I'm probably due for a laptop upgrade soon. Lord knows I need to upgrade the OS, and who knows what that'll do to performance.) Maybe I'll use it for more than cat pics and when I travel?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My Chiropractor offered her a job today (she went with me as my external memory device). Not sure how serious the offer is, but they took her information. Part of the problem is that just before things went down with D, she left her steady job. She has been working odd jobs since and right now she is in her last week of clinical interning (which has been 40+ a week). She has July and August to build up what she can working as many hours as she can - odd jobs/steady job/both before school starts again.

Aaaand the midnight interview what interviews at midnight is done. Poor guy, he had about an hour's warning that he was doing this phone call.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

But I think the call went well, which is really all that matters.

Well, I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but I'm on my way to the international terminal.
