I still run into people who've read and loved Kid Dynamo, which I wrote over 25 years ago. One of the most amazing things about being a writer (or creative artist, period) is that you never know what piece is going to hit somebody in ways that you might never have anticipated.

Mmm, more Pierogies! Potato and broccoli and potato and cheese. Plus a cheese blintz. Mmm.

Our wings are not tired.

Enjoy! I ate many many pierogies as a child, but for some reason have never made them.

I finally had a burst of energy yesterday and wiped down the front porch. There are a total of 7 rooms here including the porch and I had removed a couple years worth of grime from 6 of them but the porch was that much worse since it would have had more weather exposure. Anyway, I am not going to go so far as to say the whole place is clean now, but all rooms are habitable. A second round will be easier now.

Today will be far less adrenaline-inducing -- shopping at local stores and strolling around. Perhaps I will buy some more maple sugar candy!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would like some pierogies. Any flavor -- I'm not picky!

We have also started taking photos of the gnomes. It's like a scavenger hunt or geocaching!

Mmmmm, pierogies. I grew up in an area with a strong Polish influence, so it's kind of surprising that I didn't discover pierogies until I was an adult.

Go you with the cleaning fu, Laura!

I occasionally get AO3 kudos on my West Wing and Farscape fics. It always makes me smile.

Mmmmm, maple sugar candy. My sister brought some back from her Woodsman's Day event. So yummy. Only touch it about twice a year, but it is a treat then.

Oh, I forgot to mention that she also brought home maple sugar cotton candy, but her grandson got that and I didn't get a chance to try it. That sounded like a perfect concept to me.
