Good luck Jilli, even if a midnight interview seems more than a little odd.

Back from surgery -- I took the scenic route -- and all is well, the bandaid is very small, but I have a couple stitches that have to be removed next week. The anaesthetic is finally wearing off and it isn't hurting too much.
I wish we'd hear from ita... I worry.
I'd rather have an interview at midnight than at 6am my time.

True. So that's 7? 8? AM their time?
ETA: The cats somehow keep changing this keyboard to the French keyboard. Argh!
9am, I think.
I think this is the last interview hoop I have to jump through. Apparently there's a lot of process you can bypass when the VP personally recruits you? But I'm not counting on anything until I have an offer letter.
A Midnight Interview sounds perfect for you.
Seriously -- I just set up a 6am call for someone, and felt terrible even suggesting it! But time zones.
My older brother is in rehab as of last Friday. Unfortunately it is only a six day stint. At the least my mother and little brother have almost a week of silence and peace.
Little brother has quit his job and is making no efforts to find a new one, move out, go to college, or anything productive. We'll see how that goes once older bro comes back.
I've actually never been more grateful to my older bro for calling during a conversation with my mother, and she had to let me got to speak to him. Our two hour conversations would be a lot shorter if I wasn't listening to her also yell at the dogs and talk to my little bro and father during the same time period. I feel like wallpaper when she does that.
Fingers crossed Jilli
I'm out, finally.
They gave me some (more, Jesus) dilaudid as well as Toradol, and the sheer panic from this morning is now gone and although I'm still tender to the touch (no bra, bad bra!) my range of motion isn't as suddenly painfully curtailed, and it's no longer radiating in as many directions The general ER assessment was "I've never seen you like that." With a side of "Oh, we hadn't realised you had neck problems." Yeah, probably because you don't read things in the circular painseeker file in any detail. I've mentioned it a number of times.
I have a doctor's appointment for about 24 hours from now, and I'm trying to not think about lying down (every position so far hurts, and I am not inured to this pain in the least). I am considering sleeping sitting up tonight.
Burrell, if you could help me out with picking up prescriptions from the Walgreen's near me, I'd be forever indebted to you. If you could give me a lift there, or I could give you the information for them to just put it on my card, either way--eternal love. I've had dilaudid too recently to drive anywhere tonight,
Hey, Jilli, congrats! Best of luck with the next step.
