I need to make a list like Jesse.
Already done:
vacuum my bedroom - me
vacuum hall - mac
clear mudroom - me
sweep mudroom - mac
scrub extra dirty parts of mudroom - me
clean mudroom rug - me
wash dog bed - me
sweep kitchen - me (may need to be done again)
Need to do:
vacuum living rooms
mop kitchen
clean my bathroom
do a load of laundry
vacuum mac's room
measure some clothes
go through some papers - clear off at least one side table
clean off dresser
wash car
vacuum car
That is more than a good start of what is needed.
If I can get these stupid reviews written today, I will be in good shape. In a job where there is nothing numeric, and raises have already been given out, I wish we could just have the conversation without all the paperwork!
I keep adding things to my to do list and not getting the things that are already on it done. Pretty sure this is not the best way forward.
On the plus side, I have figured out that I can make meringue out of the egg whites that it was bothering me would be leftover from making lemon custard, and use that to top the custards for little bitty lemon meringue pies. So of course doing all that has gone on the list to be done.
Little bitty lemon meringue pies sounds fantastic.
Right? I'm excited to try. But first I'd better get to the hardware store because I still haven't managed to drain my tub. Going now.
I still don't really get why mixing the types of bulbs works when having two narrower tubes in the same ballast doesn't, but I can accept it without understanding why.
That's harder to guess at, but it could be that the newer tubes aren't meant to be used as a pass through or can only handle the power when they're at the end of the line.
So I found the breaker box: it's on the outside of the house, next to the meter. And I flipped the switch, and nothing happened.
Yep, time for a professional, but at least you know they won't just show up and flip a switch. It could be that the breakers are fried and need to be replaced, but my money is on one leg of the power coming to your house being down.
Go, Teppy!
Otter Lake sounds like a magical place (and not in a Tahiti kind of way).
I need to get out and accomplish some things. My lack of productivity this weekend is astounding.

Sigh. Yes. Ah, well.
I had planned to Do Things today, but the new exercises I'm doing for my dizziness are (surprise!) making me dizzy and headachey and I don't want to go out. It's mid-afternoon and the only thing I've done today is walk the dogs.
But the dogs thank you.
Edit: And I got two cat claws trimmed!

Good one.
I picked up some non-caustic sounding drain opener stuff that promises an empty tub in an hour. We shall see. If it works I may start buying it by the case (it's also a preventative for slow drains which has been a chronic problem since, well, the home inspection before we bought to be honest)
