Our wings are not tired.

I'm on my way to a little place upstate called Otter Lake—you may have heard of it. I hear the people there are very nice there!

Woo! Not a pretty first day, cold and rainy, but warm company!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Theo, I know fibro is one of the conditions medical marijuana has been prescribed for.

Here's the deets on MA:

Woohoo, I rearranged my hutch and fit all my new Rachael Ray dishes on one shelf. I'm so pleased.

Pans are still in an overflow situation, but one thing at a time.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Did I post here, or only on FB, that the article I mentioned editing, back in July, about the statistics on states with medical marijuana laws and the sharp decrease in opioid OD deaths was published this week? I've seen it in the news EVERYWHERE, including io9. It's not like I did the research or wrote it, or did anything other than edit it, but I still feel like: I made that! Woo!

I credit the editing.

Go, Steph!

So I found the breaker box: it's on the outside of the house, next to the meter. And I flipped the switch, and nothing happened. No lights. Flipped the master switch, then all the other switches, then the original one. Back and forth.

Nothing.

Time for a professional. Which I won't get until Tuesday at the earliest. Argh.

At least I have a working microwave: I brought in an industrial-strength extension cable from the garage. The only real inconvenience is having no light in the bathroom or kitchen, and the oven won't work because it's an electric ignition to light the oven. I can light the stove with a lighter fine.

Well, glad you found it and didn't have to crawl under the house. Sorry it didn't help.

Well, I went for a run which was not great and then I moved the latch on the gate so I can open and close it again. After seeing how far I had to adjust it, I think I am going to blame the earthquake after all.
