OMG, I love it. Was it definitely buried, or maybe someone just lost their laundry money and it made its way under some dirt? Anyway, finders keepers.
It was buried, but not very deeply. I was using an edger to cut away some of the sod there and it was at least a couple of inches under the surface. It's a garden bed that I dug out, but I've kind of neglected the last few years. So if it was put there 3 years ago, it may have been overtaken by grasses and dirt.
But, my yard has two completely fenced yards and it's 90% fenced in itself. That garden bed abuts city owned land but it's 20 feet to my fence and a fairly steep incline from the sidewalk, so it rarely actually has people on it.
WTF people? No trespassing.
Seriously people. And if you're going to bury money in my yard, leave much larger amounts!

Motivating to start cleaning. WIshing the caffeine would kick in. Manage to get in a fitful sleep-in, but slow to get moving. (When in my life did 9:30 become sleeping in?)

Seriously! I was unable to sleep part of the night and was determined to sleep in to make up for lost time. 6:30 had to feed the dog as she doesn't get the whole sleep in thing. Went back to bed but still couldn't force myself to stay longer than 8. Wish I was a nap person.
I slept in, skipped church. rain mode in during the night and my head hurts. Also due to work travel and a family emergency with other employees, I will be doing some work today even though it is not my weekend. I'll also be on call all week again. do not like being understaffed. AT least I did not have to work yesterday I guess.
I am ready to work in a work week only office environment.

Sunday at the con, so I am sleepy. "Slept in" until 9:30, but went to bed after 2 am.
I have had a morning of Fail. Went to the nail place, but it's full of a wedding party so no dance to get my way overdue nails done. Then I thought, well, I could stop by Floyd's and get my roots dyed, but they didn't have anyone in who does color today. Feh.

eta: updated Beep Me and I sit here nervous over Mom. I do believe she is surrounded by loving family and has good care, so that part is good.
