I am well aware of the joys of garlic. But I actually dared the produce section and dealt with actual plant parts instead of something from a jar or bottle. Though that jar of minced garlic in garlic juice looks promising.

The downside to my making-lunches-for-the-whole-week-on-Sunday ways is that I seem to have forgotten how to make one lunch for tomorrow. It just doesn't seem possible.
I do have deviled eggs. And cheesecake. And hazelnuts. Maybe if I have enough snacks I can count that as lunch?

Freakish discovery of the day: my sister told me last night that when she met her now-husband, she was then dating a guy whose father was Philip Michael Thomas, from Miami Vice. My sister dated the son of Tubbs. (I never met him, but my brothers did, and mocked him mercilessly.)
