'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Maybe more "as executive producer he was involved in casting"?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I would put out there that a six-sided yellow fabric star is basically never a good idea.

Not their first bit of questionable judgement:

Music Bubble on Twitter: #MusicBubble #Fashion #News European fashion chain #Zara thought it wise to slap the phrase "White Is the New Black"

Fadi Abdelnour on Twitter: I am not sure what to think of @ZARA's #Keffiyeh pants. does it sell well in #Israel?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There was a swastika purse, too, right?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Nova is on my lap, making up for all the time I was away by shedding copiously on me.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I was just talking to the deputy sheriff on duty at work, and noted that her badge is a 5-pointed star.

A local sherriff drove past me at lunch and I noted that the car had a seven-pointed star.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

So Jay was involved in casting, even though he didn't write or direct, right?

Customer who want to know how things work and want to be helpful are a good thing. Keep telling yourself that.

But stop making "helpful" hints when you don't know what the hell you're talking about!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They also asked for references.

I feel like I'm getting really good at asking questions when being interviewed, when I was stymied by the principle last job search. Simple things like "What components make up the project team?" and more specific-to-the-job things like "What makes this deployment attempt more likely to succeed than the first two failures" make me sound interested and like I've been listening, I hope.

Fingers crossed. The background check from now is so that I could start ASAP if they choose me.

"What makes this deployment attempt more likely to succeed than the first two failures"

That's a terrific question, goes to their processes and shows interest in how they manage things.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It opens the kimono.

Or closes it. Or puts it on a hanger.

Look, I don't know what that means in business-speak. I just wanted to sound hip.
